Reality is a little messier, but… well. It’s pretty good, too.
Love that little’un is trying to pull the camera by the strap! Looks like such a familiar scene. We’re trying to find summer joy, also.

Finding the everyday joys, and the joy that’s here with the changing sesaon ~ love it! The shot with the kids pulling on you while you’re taking the shot is great!
I was trying to take a picture of THEM! But they kept inching closer and closer, and then I thought I could maybe get them in the mirror, but… no. It’s still one of my favorite recent pictures.

I’m glad you slept recently too! I sleep ALL the time currently, but I remember well the joy of recent sleep.
Sleeping all the time sounds heavenly! I know it’s not, I remember what that’s like, but from here it sounds really really good.

I’m sad to have not written a post this week. We’ve had stomach bugs, evacuation from wildfires, and moving. Was going to write about the joy of being preserved through it all . . . but I’m too tired to measure out six words.
So I’m going to strive instead for the “glad-to-have-slept-recently-joy”.
*yawn” *rubs eyes*
