After a family brainstorming session on what-do-we-need-at-the-grocery-store, we came up with:
Apples; garlic; onion; oats.
“Um,” said Dane. “There’s nothing to eat on that list.”
“And,” said Owen, helpfully, “if you mixed it all together, it would be disgusting.”
Well. Yes.

Everyone needs orange tulips.
Seems that way.
yes, do love me some tulips!
Me too.
Melissa,
Wonderful, isn’t it, that we can take these random treasures and feed upon them even if together they would make a “disgusting mess?”
I love the idea of the family huddling around to make a list of wonderful things to eat.
Namaste……….cj
PS – I would go back for the tulips!
When we ask the kids what they want for dinners, the answer is usually along the lines of: how many times can we make veggie burgers this week?
But yes, what a gift that the fruits of the earth can be rearranged into endlessly nourishing combinations!
