Wee fingers, toes,
eyelashes, sighs…
SOON.
(Baby’s due absolutely any day now.)
(I’m not so great at waiting.)

ETA: THE WAIT IS OVER! He’s here…

Can’t wait to hear good news!
It seems like it’ll never happen,
And, suddenly—Let the games begin!
Come out baby! This world’s awesome!
Little grandchild, come meet your family!
Oh baby! Come out and play!
(Felt uninspired to write about waiting this week – I think that’s because I suck at it!)
Thinking of you lots!
I can’t wait for your baby!
The last few days is the hardest. I hope the baby comes this weekend.
ps. I love six word Fridays. Truly. I love it. It’s a challenge for me too, because I’m normally very, very wordy.
Baby, we want to meet you!
We wait with you, so excited,
though not as excited as you!
Now-due babies bring nervous excitement,
a surprise party in your tummy,
beautiful fluttering butterflies in your heart.
The waiting is the hardest part.
