To get out the sewing machine.
To clean out kids’ closets. Soon.
To Finish! Stuff! before the birth.
To remember “urgent” is not “important.”
To figure out what is important.
To choose a direction, with confidence.
To pay attention, all the time.
(At least… more of the time.)
And to listen to myself sometimes.

What’s your goal? In six words?
I’d love to read all about it…
Write yours in the comments here, or post on your own blog (and then add your link to our list!).
Need more details? Want me to email you next week’s topic?

To get up earlier every morning.
To rely less on caffeinated beverages.
Do you see a trend here?
(To go to sleep earlier. Nightly.)
I have tried, never yet managed.
I need my late nights! Really!
Well… “need” may be too strong…
Um, I think we have the same before-baby-arrives to-do list! Seriously, I have a running list of things to sew – if only it didn’t feel like so much trouble to drag out the sewing machine!! And I was just telling my husband that we have got some real de-cluttering to do, including closets.
Maybe I could sew right now!
But that feels rather impossible, no?
Making goals: hard work in itself!
To make it through the day
One more day until the weekend
My birthday Sunday, I get cake!
Maybe they’ll let me sleep in
Good goals to strive for, yes
Happy early birthday! And happy cake!
I hope you do sleep in…
Urgent is not important. Oh, this is so wise!! I need to remember this.
Baking. To try a new recipe.
Maybe homemade English muffins or graham crackers.
Sleeping in, reading some, lounging lots.
Homemade baked goods, yum and yum!
Maybe this weekend I’ll try too…
But probably not a new recipe.
I only have a little ambition!
To not be afraid of success.
To call my mother more often.
Be more playful, silly and laugh.
Eliminate chocolate as a food group.
Do something new everyday without hesitation.
Eliminate… chocolate… uh… does not compute…
But these are worthy goals, all.
Eliminate chocolate as a food group?
Let’s establish a new group instead!
Sure would make “balanced” eating easier.
Balanced (chocolate) eating: yet another goal…
My goal was to write six words. Alas, I’m tired from all the words I wrote this week so it didn’t happen. I don’t even have it in me to write a six word comment.
But can I tell you “To chose a direction, with confidence,” now that I might be able to write plenty of words about. I wish it for us both!
“Rest” is also an excellent goal!
