![]() | six word fridays: wishing |
Blowing dandelion fluff: what to wish?
Birthday candles: something new every year?
For a magic wand that cleans.
For creativity, and patience, and foresight.
For a chocolate cake, double frosting.
(I wish for that a lot.)
For small-armed hugs without end.
For the excitement of discovering ladybugs.
For wonder that never dissipates. Ever.
For them to grow, but slowly.
For bliss. It visits too rarely.
For courage. Pursuing dreams requires it.
For confidence. To know all’s well.
For more time, today. Every day.
For you, and me, and us.
Today, I wish for it all.

For courage. For bliss. For confidence. Sigh…yes.
Nothing like wishing for the biggies…
Foresight. To know better next time.
For next time: perfection. (I wish!)
My son woke me up early
I wish myself back to bed
My everyday wish, like a mantra.
I love all of your wishes.
Especially the one about the wand.
That one would rock, I think.
I love this concept! Next Friday I’ll play along in my blog! For now:
Burnt toast, balloons bouncing indoors: rain.
Yay! More playing along = more fun.
We have heat. Rain sounds lovely…
That I could ship a chocolatecake.
(And yes, I did just make one word out of two, that’s part of the wish, also.)
!!!
You wish good wishes! Not surprising…
And grammatical wishes are totally allowed.
“For them to grow, but slowly”
Ah, isn’t that just the thing?
Just the thing I can’t control.
So fast, too fast–halfway grown!
It’s sad you won’t appear named
yet I can’t help but ask,
“What did you wish for, Bear?”
You would think with less time,
Six words would be just enough.
But sometimes the fewer the words,
The longer the line’s gestation takes!
I wish you might follow @ACotlerOroarty
Yes! Sometimes six words come slowly.
Wishing will get you everywhere… maybe?
One love that always gives hope.
Love this concept.
Best place to find lasting hope.
