Okay. Nobody panic. I’ve moved some buttons around. Stuff that was at the top of the page is now in the sidebar. Stuff that used to be nowhere is now at the top of the page. Some other stuff might have disappeared altogether, I don’t know. Do tell me if I’ve deleted something crucial, like the posts.

Also new: I’ve created a resources page, with links to books and blog posts and all kinds of information on birth and midwifery. There’s a link up there at the top of the page. Check it out, let me know if I’m missing anything. Or let me know how many totally obvious things I’m missing. Your help is greatly appreciated, as always.

In other blogging news, Kate Hopper’s annual haiku competition is now open. This year’s topic is “What No One Told Me,” and the winner will receive a lovely Amazon gift card. Come on, 5-7-5! You can do it!

Also, Jen and Sarah at Momalom are gearing up for Five for Ten, wherein if you leave them comments, you will win fabulous prizes! (Actually I don’t know what prizes. Or even if there are prizes. Last time there were tee shirts. And I don’t know about your house, but at my house? Without tee shirts? Some people would be perpetually topless. And with that, this sidenote has officially gone off topic… You might just go ask Jen and Sarah if they’re giving you prizes or what.) Even more important than the prizes is the whole blog-community-building aspect of the project, with participants blogging on the same topics over a two-week period and leaving each other comments and generally having a grand old time getting to know one another. Yay for grand old times!

So. This concludes our test of the emergency… uh, blog information dispensing service. This was only a test. In the event of a real emergency, you probably won’t have any pressing need for blog posts on fake morse code or accessorized apples. And now: back to your regularly scheduled… clicking.
