We are not in a high risk area, but were under the voluntary evacuation last year so there is a possibility if the fires rage again. I worry about air quality for a newborn. Isn't it amazing how our bodies respond in times of distress? As for wondering how Sadie remembers her birth, I'd totally ask her when she's a bit older. I've heard that around age 2 they can still remember and are sometimes able to articulate their memories quite well.
