Okay, okay, enough about The Little Computer That Couldn’t. You’re tired of it, I’m tired of it, and anyway, it’s depressing. On to more interesting topics. How about a giveaway? That’s much more exciting. Pleasant, too. So! I have a brand spankin’ new copy of Lisa Garrigues’ Writing Motherhood sitting on my desk. It’s the one with the lovely new paperback cover. And I think it should go home to live with one of you.
Writing Motherhood is full of ideas for (what else?) writing about motherhood, useful whether you’re a blogger or a journal-keeper or some other kind of writer. Or all of the above. It would also make a thoughtful new-parent gift, should you not be a parent yourself.
So here’s the deal: Not having a computer for the last… er… ever, means that I haven’t hardly been able to keep up with all my favorite blogs. And I miss you! So I want to know: what have you been up to? You. Yes, you. Leave me a comment telling me what you’ve been doing for the last few weeks, and I’ll choose one at random to win Writing Motherhood. And there you go.
Ah, it’s good to be back.

We miss you, too! Round here, Senna pretends she is Abigail (yes, your Abigail) pretty much daily! And she still tells me we have to meet you all at the beach, since she slept thru it last time. July is a month of many family/friend visitors, so we’re busy, but would love to try to see y’all.

Yeah! You’re back in action!! We’re pretty much just trying to keep Caleb busy so he’ll be tired by the end of the day (trampoline, swimming, etc.). And Nikki spent two weeks at sleep-away camp (first time ever!).
Welcome back!!
I’ve been getting back into the swing of things with my return to working after the end of my maternity leave. I’ve also just been trying to enjoy every moment I have with my newest baby and trying to maintain my sanity while taking care of our puppy during the day.
So glad to see you back!
We’ve missed you!
I’ve been consuming B & J’s by the pint.
Yeah, quite the summer, eh?
Everybody around here seems to be growing up by leaps and bounds–M in his own gym class, K really talking–which means I’m due for a little progress myself. But there’s sun and summer breezes and ice cream by the gallon… what better season for wanting time to stand still?
Good to have you back!
