While I’ve been computerless (which, by the way, I still am, at least at the moment), I’ve been reading. Shocking, I know. Here’s what I’ve got this week:
Without a Map, recommended by Writers Revealed and, I don’t know, half the internet.
The Bill from My Father, recommended by Kate Hopper.
Never Let Me Go, recommended by Jennifer Niesslein.
Apparently I’m highly influencible. Anybody else want to tell me what to do? Er, read?

Let’s see, if you’re really desperate … you could come over and do some of my weeding, bake cookies for a class party, start laying down tile in the bathroom, and … Oh, you’re not that desperate, huh?! Yea, me NEITHER!!Enjoy your books!!!
I think you should read The Shack…It’s not high literature, but I found it to be very enjoyable in its allegory of the trinity and dealing with evil. Full of love…You can borrow my copy. Are you going to join FB? huh? Are you? I sent you an invitation to join…did you get it–oh wait, no computer so I’m sure your time is limited. Ok you’re off the hook (this time!). ps. I bought TWO pairs of shorts at (gasp) Walmart (your mother would die…) Hee.
I recently read “The Monsters of Templeton” by Lauren Groff, and “The Host” by Stephenie Meyer. Both were good, and why not read a book while you can?
Are you liking Cooper?
More books, more books! Yay.
Kate, I did enjoy Cooper. The book was funny and engaging, and his father is such (such!) a character!
