Well, I finally got the washer to drain, so at least I have rinsed curtains instead of soaking curtains. I still don’t quite have clean curtains. I also don’t have a washer, as it was officially diagnosed: dead. Irreparable, but luckily quite replaceable. The new washer comes tomorrow. Any bets on how much dirty laundry we’ll have accumulated by then? Somewhere between 36 and 48 hours without a washer? I shudder to think.

I find the idea of a new washer quite exciting, though! Does yours have a sanitizing cycle?? My cousin says that comes in quite handy with cloth diapers, although we seem to have managed without it.
What kind of sad statement is that when you get excited about new appliances? *sigh*
What does a sanitizing cycle do, I wonder? Might it sometimes go by the pseudonym “hot wash cycle”?
Maybe. She made it seem like it was separate from the hot cycle. Maybe it’s hot water AND heat?? Anyway, I thought it would work great for the diapers.
Ooooooh, fancy.
Sadly, the new one just has regular stuff. Oh well.
