I feel like I should give you some kind of exciting pregnancy update, but I’ve got nothing.
We’re way past our due date, which means either 1) the date is wrong, and we’re still waiting because the baby’s not done cooking yet; or 2) the date is right, and there’s some kind of holdup that needs addressing.
So far, we’re cautiously optimistic that it’s #1, but we continue to check regularly for any evidence of #2. And that’s really all the news. I’ll let you know when I’ve got something more interesting to report!
Have you started researching the world record yet? Because that would at least be kind of cool…
What’s “way past” mean? Remember, your due date is more like a “due month.” And depending on your cycle length, and how they dated your pregnancy, your date could definitely be “off.”
As uncomfortable as you might be physically, your baby will NEVER be as easy to care for as it is now… remember that… and enjoy the last little stretch as much as you can…
My husband was 4 weeks late. That doesn’t give you much to look forward to, but considering how good he turned out, maybe you’re just cooking up a really good kid.
“Still pregnant” is an exciting update – it’s just not the one we (and you) are hoping for.

Waiting to bring over proffered bean salad. Still waiting. Actually, have not made beans, so perhaps you need to wait on baby a few more days…
Oh, and I just emailed and asked, stupidly, how that whole baby thing is going! Ignore me! You are so over that question!
Country Dawn – this will be her 4th pregnancy and child, so I’m guessing she’s way past easy already!
